The Autumn exhibition at “le stanze del vetro” in Venice will be dedicated to the American artist Thomas Stearns, who collaborated with the Venini glassworks in the early 1960s. The artist familiarized with local techniques and created extremely original works characterized by asymmetrical forms with unusual chromatic schemes. In 1962, for the 31st Biennale, Venini exhibited, together with Tobia Scarpa’s art pieces, also six works by Thomas Stearns which received the applause of the jury. #Damiani
